Custom styles, shapes, colors, graphics, and illuminated options for storefront branding.
Storefront awnings and canopies remain a mainstay of the commercial cityscape. Beyond their
value as signage, custom commercial awnings add architectural character and visible advantage
from multiple angles while optionally providing shelter and nighttime illumination.
Weathertyte is the product of Cooley's long history as a pioneer in flexible sign and awning
materials. It offers the look and feel of textured fabric with the weather resistance of a
high-performance vinyl polymer substrate, making it a practical fit for high-visibility commercial
awning work.
Benefits of Using Weathertyte
Waterproof, not just water resistant
Flame resistant and compliant with major fire standards
Digitally printable for custom graphics and branding
Resists sagging better than woven acrylic
Resists stains and fungus and is easy to clean
Awning Color Palette
Eradicated and printed awning programs offer a wide color range for matching brand standards,
facade treatments, and visibility requirements.
Eradicated Backlit Awnings & Canopies
Eradicolor is ideal for backlit awnings and signage with single background colors. Designs and logos may be added through eradication by inlaying additional colors where desired. The exposed white background stays bright thanks to pigments and additives that improve resistance to UV exposure, heat degradation, and microbial growth. The embedded high-strength polyester scrim improves tensioning strength and long-term durability while maintaining light diffusion that enhances graphics and hides structural components.
Digitally Printed Awnings & Canopies
Seemee Backlit Standard is a classic backlit substrate compatible with solvent-based digital printers. Its universal topcoat and translucency make it useful for backlit signs, banners, and billboards where consistent image quality and strong color reproduction matter.
Decorative Fabric Awnings & Canopies
Sunbrella is a 100 percent solution-dyed acrylic fabric built to withstand sun, wind, and rain while maintaining appearance over time. Because color is locked into the acrylic fibers during manufacturing, it resists fading and washout and is supported by a long-term limited warranty.
